Off-Roading in the Midwest

Every year, my family and I try to do something new. A few years ago, we decided to buy an Atv to enjoy colse to our area. As we've grown to love our off road adventures, we started seeking out new places where we can recognize and enjoy nature. This article very much reflects what I've learned about places you can go in and colse to the central Midwest, primarily in Missouri and Kansas.

The Midwest isn't as flat and boring as outsiders tend to think, there are some ways to enjoy what nature has to offer in the Midwest. Kansas and Missouri trails offer residents with an opportunity to recognize and enjoy the gorgeous landscape that nature has to offer on their Motorcross, Atv, Dirt Bike or Motorcycle. Below are some quick tips for enjoying all that scenic Missouri has to offer.

Find the right car for your trip.

While off roading vehicles all serve the same purpose in helping you get the most out of nature, each one has a different purpose in helping you recognize different types of surfaces.

Four Wheelers are used for a collection of purposes in nature but are specifically designed to driver slower on flat surfaces. These are great for places like St. Joe State Park which provides over 2,000 acres of land for recreational use.

Motorcross Similarly, these two wheel vehicles are simpler and are ideal for dual sport and trail riding.

Dirt Bikes are commonly used for off-roading, racing and are simpler with lighter designs and have tires that are created with the intention of gripping a collection of surfaces.

Jet Skis are, quite obviously, designed to enjoy lakes in Kansas and Missouri.

For years, it's been a favorite reliance that life in the Midwest is flat but that couldn't be more wrong.
